Aluminum Oxide Desiccant

Aluminum Oxide Desiccant
Alumina desiccant is a highly efficient drying agent primarily composed of activated alumina. It features a porous and highly dispersed structure, providing a large specific surface area and high pore volume. In addition, it offers excellent mechanical strength, allowing it to withstand external forces without easy breakage. It also demonstrates outstanding high-temperature resistance and remains stable under elevated temperature conditions. The material is insoluble in water and organic solvents and does not swell or pulverize after moisture adsorption, ensuring reliable and long-term performance.
The product typically appears as white spherical or cylindrical porous granules with a smooth surface and uniform particle size.
Owing to its strong adsorption capacity, chemical stability, high mechanical strength, regenerability, and high-temperature resistance, alumina desiccant is widely used in industrial and warehousing applications requiring deep dehumidification, corrosion prevention, freeze blockage prevention, insulation protection, and stable production processes.

Strong Adsorption Capacity
The porous structure and large specific surface area enable deep drying and stable dehumidification performance.
Stable Physical and Chemical Properties
The material is insoluble in water and organic solvents, resistant to acids, alkalis, and high temperatures, and does not easily pulverize, dissolve, or deform.
High Mechanical Strength
It exhibits excellent resistance to compression and abrasion, reducing breakage during operation and preventing pipeline and equipment blockages.
Regenerable and Reusable
After reaching adsorption saturation, the desiccant can be regenerated by heating and reused multiple times, effectively reducing operating costs.
Wide Range of Applications
Suitable for drying both gases and liquids, it is widely applied in industries such as power generation, air separation, instrumentation, industrial manufacturing, and warehousing.
Safe and Environmentally Friendly
The product is non-toxic, odorless, non-corrosive, and does not cause secondary pollution during use.
Alumina desiccant is a porous alumina material with a high specific surface area, available in spherical or granular form. It adsorbs free moisture molecules from gases and liquids through van der Waals forces between the material surface and moisture molecules. This physical adsorption process does not involve chemical reactions, dissolution, or pulverization.
