Preventing Clothes from Molding
During summer, especially in humid regions, humidity levels rise significantly. This period is often referred to as the “rainy season”—when moisture in the air becomes exceptionally heavy, causing condensation to appear on walls and floors.
Even though wardrobes and closets are generally sealed, moist air can still seep inside. Stored clothing may absorb this moisture, eventually developing mold spots. A simple and effective solution is to place several desiccant packets inside the wardrobe.
These small packets contain moisture-absorbing materials that maintain dryness inside, preventing fabrics from dampening and molding. It’s important to note that the moisture-absorbing effect of these packets is not permanent. For optimal results, it’s recommended to replace them approximately every four weeks.
